Welcome to Wellington Aero Club
An aviation enthusiast's dream with a private runway at your doorstep.
Nestled within the South Florida Village of Wellington, the Wellington Aero Club is a private airpark aviation paradise. Private air travel is the cornerstone of this beautiful and exclusive community. Many homes boast their own hangars and direct taxiway access to the lighted 4,000-foot asphalt runway. Many of these hangars have been updated or rebuilt to accommodate light jets up to a gross weight of 12,500 pounds. This private South Florida airpark also has its own fuel station, offering Avgas and Jetfuel for its residents. There is an AWOS weather system, and PAPI lights.
The non-taxiway homes all have full access to the airport with the option of using the large tie-down field located by the midfield fuel station and pilot house. You’ll also notice many helicopters around Wellington Aero Club.
Wellington Aero Club/s South Florida location is ideal for access to some amazing locations accessible by private plane. You can leave your backyard, hop in your plane, and be in the Bahamas or the Florida Keys in less than an hour.
But it's not all about the skies. The community’s splendid homes each sit on a minimum of one acre of lush greenery. The neighborhood sits in one of the best school districts in Palm Beach County and is located directly adjacent to Wellington’s famous 900 acre equestrian preserve. It is a short golf cart ride to the Wellington International showgrounds, home of the Winter Equestrian Festival, the world’s longest-running internationally ranked horse show. And minutes away from all of the polo fields, and boutique equesrian estates that make Wellington such a unique place to live. Many residents of the Wellington Aero Club are equestrians, pilots, families, or all three!
The community also brims with natural beauty and wildlife, thanks to the neighborhood containing three Village of Wellington pocket parks. Surrounded by canals, the Club’s location near the Everglades means the community teems with tropical birds and plants. The Aero Club is more than a residence; it's a gateway to a life where your backyard leads to endless skies and adventures across the horizon.
